El campo de aplicaci\u00f3n en el que se trabaja es muy diverso debido a sus excelentes prestaciones bioecol\u00f3gicas y biom\u00e9dicas.  el objeto de estudiar la miscibilidad de la polilactida es mejorar las prestaciones tecnol\u00f3gicas y biodegradables del pol\u00edmero en estado puro, y ante todo, abaratar el coste del producto final, ya que la producci\u00f3n de pla conlleva un proceso muy costoso.  los pol\u00edmeros pla y polivinilfenol tienen grupos funcionales en su estructura que favorecen las interacciones espec\u00edficas. Esto se debe a que existe cierta polaridad en los enlaces concretos de cada macromol\u00e9cula. Uno de los grupos funcionales es prot\u00f3n-donor (el grupo alcohol del polivinilfenol) y el otro es prot\u00f3n-aceptor (elgrupo carbonilo de la polilactida). Estos enlaces ligeramente polarizados dan lugar a una interacci\u00f3n atractiva de tipo puentes de hidr\u00f3geno (-c=o&#8230;Ho-).  una de las v\u00edas de investigaci\u00f3n es la integraci\u00f3n en la estructura de grupos fenol en un pol\u00edmero que no sea miscible con la polilactida como, por ejemplo, el poliestireno.  El estudio de las interacciones se realiza por m\u00e9todos espectrosc\u00f3picos, el estudio de miscibilidad por t\u00e9cnicas calorim\u00e9tricas. Adem\u00e1s, se realizan ensayos de microscop\u00eda electr\u00f3nica para observar la morfolog\u00eda que adoptan las mezclas en dominios m\u00e1s elementales que el macrosc\u00f3pico. Conjuntamente se analizan las propiedades mec\u00e1nicas de las mezclas por ensayos cuasi-est\u00e1ticos (tracci\u00f3n) y din\u00e1mico-mec\u00e1nicos (dma). Tambi\u00e9n se analiza el comportamiento viscoel\u00e1stico en funci\u00f3n de la temperatura y de la frecuencia de trabajo.  los diferentes resultados y conclusiones del trabajo mencionados han dado
