Para ello, se desarrolla una metodolog\u00eda de muestreo y analisis para cada grupo de compuestos, que se aplico al estudio de cuatro centrales termicas de carbon pulverizado y una de lecho fluido presurizado. De este estudio se obtiene un perfil caracteristico de haps en centrales termicas de carbon y se establecen las condiciones de operacion como el principal factor en el control de las emisiones de estos compuestos. Tambien se estudia la influencia de estas emisiones en la calidad del aire en zonas proximas, en cuanto a los compuestos determinados, proponiendose mecanismos de transporte para los mismos. Finalmente, se hace un estudio del contenido en compuestos organicos volatiles en el agua de aporte, vertidos y otros puntos de interes en cada una de las centrales termicas estudiadas, centrandose en
