En la mayor parte de los casos las reacciones tienen lugar en unos pocos minutos, con el correspondiente ahorro energ\u00e9tico con respecto a los m\u00e9todos cl\u00e1sicos de calentamiento. Adem\u00e1s, en casi ninguno de los ejemplos se han empleado disolventes, con lo que se minimiza la generaci\u00f3n de residuos. Por otro lado, esta tesis no se limita al estudio y desarrollo de m\u00e9todos que hacen uso de la tecnolog\u00eda microonda, sino que se ha pretendido evaluar las posibilidades sint\u00e9ticas de los compuestos obtenidos. En aquellos casos que los precedentes lo aconsejaban se han evaluado las propiedades biol\u00f3gicas, y para los compuestos novedosos se ha profundizado en el estudio de la estructura obtenida mediante difracci\u00f3n de rayos x. Los compuestos que se han sintetizado y analizado durante la realizaci\u00f3n de esta tesis han sido los siguientes: enol carbamatos, tetrahidroisoquinolinas, benzoazepinas, tiazolinas, sulfuros de
