En el dise\u00f1o se han incorporado intercambiadores de calor de placas funcionando como generador, recuperador de calor, condensador y subenfriador. Dos configuraciones de absorci\u00f3n adiab\u00e1tica, gotas y l\u00e1minas, fueron experimentadas.  en la primera etapa de la investigaci\u00f3n se analiza el desempe\u00f1o global de la instalaci\u00f3n. Un posterior an\u00e1lisis detallado de componentes es realizado. La potencia frigor\u00edfica y cop se describen en t\u00e9rminos de un modelo diagn\u00f3stico y se comparan con resultados experimentales.  se ha obtenido una ampliaci\u00f3n del modelo de ecuaci\u00f3n caracter\u00edstica, basada en una diferencia caracter\u00edstica de temperaturas, incluyendo las particularidades de la instalaci\u00f3n. El ajuste entre el modelo obtenido y los datos experimentales es bueno.  la eficiencia de absorci\u00f3n se ha caracterizado en t\u00e9rminos de transferencia de calor y masa. La configuraci\u00f3n de l\u00e1minas presenta mejores par\u00e1metros de evoluci\u00f3n que la de gotas.  se ha hecho un an\u00e1lisis monof\u00e1sico y bif\u00e1sico de transferencia de calor y ca\u00edda de presi\u00f3n en los intercambiadores de calor de placas.
