El metodo de analisis propuesto se basa en el calculo del campo propagado en el dispositivo y el posterior procesado de los resultados obtenidos para llevar a cabo un analisis modal. Las aportaciones principales del trabajo estan centradas en los metodos para realizar los calculos, que simplifican deforma importante la tarea frente a los tradicionalmente empleados. Estas aportaciones son, basicamente, dos: un nuevo metodo de propagacion de haces que permite reducir el volumen de calculo y almacenamiento, y el empleo del metodo de prony para llevar a cabo el analisis modal a partir de los resultados del bpm. El metodo de prony permite obtener de forma inmediata datos acerca de la estructura modal del dispositivo y de la potencia y fase con la que se acopla cada modo en cada paso concreto, siendo mucho mas completo, rapido, eficiente y de aplicacion sencilla que tecnicas anteriores.
