Este trabajo estudia la representaci\u00f3n de los paisajes andinos en las categorizaciones simbolicas de determinados territorios. En dicho proceso, la clave se encuentra en la visi\u00f3n monista, etica, mitica y mistica del universo propia de las civilizaciones precolombinas, tan diferente a la visi\u00f3n anal\u00edtica, est\u00e9tica y maniquea de la cultura occidental vinculada a la modernidad. Por tal motivo se propone que el camino m\u00e1s riguroso para entender los paisajes andinos est\u00e1 en una lectura hermen\u00e9utica de los mismos, que obliga a contemplarlos como textos que hay que descifrar recurriendo a recursos tan distintos como la descripci\u00f3n, la analogia y la metafora que sirven de mediadores de un dialogo complejo con culturas poco homologadas. Sin caer en el determinismo, se entiende que la naturaleza influye en estas culturas y en la constituci\u00f3n de sus paisajes, al tiempo que estas culturas actuan para convertir limitaciones en recursos, pero siempre desde un respeto reverencial al orden natural. Hay una necesidad de adaptarse a lo que ya existe, donde todo tiene su sitio y se complementan. La mezcla define estos paisajes, que emergen en dos escalas diferentes: la macro del paisaje in situ y la micro de paisajes in visu.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3>Datos acad\u00e9micos de la tesis
