Mediante el programa scion image for windows, se evidenci\u00f3 una reducci\u00f3n significativa (p<0.05), de las \u00e1reas y per\u00edmetros callosales, como tambi\u00e9n de las \u00e1reas callosales parciales (tercio anterior, medio, posterior y quinto posterior), en los animales malnutridos, al compararlos con los animales eutr\u00f3ficos. De la misma forma, utilizando microscop\u00eda electr\u00f3nica de transmisi\u00f3n (met), en el esplenio callosal (quinto posterior), se observ\u00f3 una disminuci\u00f3n significativa (p<0.05) del di\u00e1metro axonal (\u00c2\u00b5m) de las fibras miel\u00ednicas y un aumento no significativo estad\u00edsticamente, de la densidad de \u00e9stas (axones\/mm2), con respecto a los controles. En relaci\u00f3n a las fibras amiel\u00ednicas tanto el di\u00e1metro como la densidad de \u00e9stas, fue significativamente (p<0.05), menor y mayor, respectivamente, que los controles. Complementariamente mediante la t\u00e9cnica de recuentos por cajas (box-counting), se midi\u00f3 la dimensi\u00f3n fractal del telenc\u00e9falo y cuerpo calloso, no siendo significativas las diferencias entre los animales malnutridos y controles. A raz\u00f3n de lo observado podemos concluir que las conexiones cortico-corticales son vulnerables a la malnutrici\u00f3n prenatal, lo que tendr\u00eda una clara incidencia en la velocidad de conducci\u00f3n interhemisf\u00e9rica, en particular con lo que dice relaci\u00f3n con las conexiones visuales (esplenio).\n\n\n\n&nbsp;\n\n\n<h3>Datos acad\u00e9micos de la tesis doctoral
