Para ello se identifican los factores internos de competitividad m\u00e1s relevantes en el caso de las empresas industriales vascas y las variables que los caracterizan, utilizando t\u00e9cnicas cualitativas basadas en entrevistas a directivos. Los factores de estudio son las capacidades directivas, las capacidades de innovaci\u00f3n, las capacidades de calidad y las capacidades de marketing de la empresa. Tras estudiar dichos factores bajo el marco te\u00f3rico de la visi\u00f3n de la empresa basada en recursos y definir sus escalas de medici\u00f3n, se plantea un modelo causal que los reacciona, que se contrasta aplicando t\u00e9cnicas de modelado con ecuaciones estructurales sobre una muestra estad\u00edsticamente representativa de las empresas industriales
