Para ello, y teniendo en cuenta que tanto el tama\u00f1o como el n\u00famero de sistemas y la calidad de los niveles de teor\u00eda encarecen considerablemente los c\u00e1lculos, se ha decidido estudiar el menor n\u00famero posible de sistemas con la mayor exactitud posible.  el criterio de elecci\u00f3n se ha basado en las interacciones de los amino \u00e1cidos con el aluminio, y para ello se han estudiado los amino \u00e1cidos arom\u00e1ticos, dado que adem\u00e1s de producir las mismas interacciones que producen el resto de amino \u00e1cidos con el aluminio, nos dan la posibilidad de estudiar el efecto de las interacciones cati\u00f3n-pi.   uno de los resultados m\u00e1s elocuentes ha sido la evidencia de que si bien en fase gaseosa las interacciones cati\u00f3n-pi son determinantes para la estructura de los complejos met\u00e1licos, estas se desvanecen en disoluci\u00f3n aquosa y son las interacciones electrost\u00e1ticas del aluminio las que pasan a ser
