Despues de revisar las aportaciones de las investigaciones sobre variables que inciden en el rendimiento escolar y de analizarlas en base al concepto de riesgo, llegamos a la definicion de un modelo para analizar, desde el aula escolar, y desde la perspectiva del riesgo, las variables que inciden en el rendimiento. En base a este modelo realizamos un estudio de casos con el fin de identificar que variables han ejercido el papel de factores protectores del riesgo de fracaso escolar. De este estudio se derivan un conjunto de variables que han sido significativas para explicar el exito escolar de jovenes que se hallaban en situacion de riesgo. Los resultados de este estudio asi como del estudio teorico, tienen implicaciones para la investigacion y la intervencion educativa de caracter preventivo.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3>Datos
