Material y metodos: 74 biopsias de psoriasis se incuban con: 1) ki-67 y en un campo de 400 aumentos se cuentan el n. De nucleos ki-67+, 2) 9 ac monocionales para las celulas del infiltrado:  okt-11, leu-3a, leu-2a, okt6, emb-11, anti-hla- dr, anti-ril-2, anti-icam-1 y anti-lfa-1. Finalmente 22 biopsias de psoriasis se someten a doble tincion secuencial, usando primero ki-67, y luego uno de los ac anteriores. Resultados y conclusiones: 1) en la psoriasis, el n. De queratinocitos suprabasales ki-67+ fue de 61.2+\/-33.5 por campo, con diferencias estadisticas respecto al liquen plano (13.6+\/-7.9) y la neurodermitis (15.8+\/-10.3), lo que apoya que en la psoriasis defecto basico reside en el queratinocito. En la dermis psoriasica se ti\u00f1eron con ki-67 17.2+\/-11.8 celulas, en el liquen plano 52.8+\/-31 y en la neurodermitis 11+\/-9.7, lo que demuestra que el infiltrado prolifera en las 3 dermatosis. 2) subpoblaciones celulares: en la dermis psoriasica, predominan los lth, los macrofagos representan un 25-50% y las celulas de langerhans y los lts un 25%. En el liquen plano hay un mayor n. De celulas de langerhans (25-50%). En la epidermis psoriasica predominan los lth y las celulas de langerhans, lo mismo que en la neurodermitis. En el liquen plano predomina la celula de langerhans, seguida de los lth. Moleculas de adhesion y activacion celular: en la dermis psoriasica el 75% de las celulas del infiltrado dermico fueron hla-dr+, el 50% icam-1+ y lfa-1+ y el 25% ril-2+. En el liquen plano fueron hla-dr+ el 75% de las celulas, icam-1+ y lfa-1+ el 50-75% y ril-2+ el 25-50%.
