Las estructuras presentadas se basan en esquemas de acoplo m\u00faltiple entre los puertos terminales y los resonadores internos de la estructura, permitiendo as\u00ed la inserci\u00f3n de ceros de transmisi\u00f3n en frecuencias finitas. Para el dise\u00f1o de los filtros se ha utilizado la t\u00e9cnica de s\u00edntesis de la matriz de acoplo n+2. En cuanto a la implementaci\u00f3n pr\u00e1ctica, se han propuestos distintas topolog\u00edas de resonador, incluyendo directrices de dise\u00f1o, que han permitido la s\u00edntesis de distintas funciones de transferencia: paso banda, banda eliminada, ecualizaci\u00f3n de fase o respuesta multibanda. Las caracter\u00edsticas de los filtros dise\u00f1ados se han analizado con ayuda de una herramienta de simulaci\u00f3n de onda completa. Por \u00faltimo, varios filtros prototipo con distintas topolog\u00edas y diferentes funciones de transferencia se han fabricado en tecnolog\u00eda microstrip.
