La s\u00edntesis de estas  nanopart\u00edculas  inteligentes ha sido realizada mediante polimerizaci\u00f3n en microemulsi\u00f3n directa e inversa. Sin lugar a dudas, la complejidad de las nanopart\u00edculas sintetizadas en esta memoria implicara el uso de nuevas t\u00e9cnicas de estructuraci\u00f3n y funcionalizaci\u00f3n qu\u00edmica que exploten al m\u00e1ximo sus propiedades para hacer posible su aprovechamiento en forma selectiva \u00f3 espec\u00edfica en diversos campos como, por ejemplo, la biomedicina.                as\u00ed mismo, una vez sintetizadas las nanopart\u00edculas polim\u00e9ricas inteligentes, estas han sido  modificadas para incorporar dentro de la matriz polim\u00e9rica un marcador biol\u00f3gico como es el caso de la mol\u00e9cula de \u00e1cido f\u00f3lico. La incorporaci\u00f3n del \u00e1cido f\u00f3lico permite que el sistema act\u00fae como un -caballo de troya- capaz de introducirse en las c\u00e9lulas cancer\u00edgenas mediante un proceso endoc\u00edtico mediado por receptores o emr, donde al cambiar las condiciones del medio, los nanogeles son capaces ser responder a dichos cambios pudiendo liberar de forma selectiva y espec\u00edfica
