Tambi\u00e9n se han realizado estudios para la obtenci\u00f3n de sulfato-derivados de hidroquinonas. Como producto de partida se ha utilizado \u00e1cido ent-hal\u00edmico (componente mayoritario de halimium viscosum, quimiotipo: villarino de los aires).  \tla s\u00edntesis de la 15,16-epoxi-12-oxo-ent-halima-5(10),13(16),14-trien-18,2&#8211;olida, ha permitido corroborar su estructura y establecer la configuraci\u00f3n absoluta del producto natural. Dicho compuesto se a\u00edsla del extracto de las raices de adenochlaena siamensis ridl. (Euphobiacea) una planta del centro y nordeste de tailandia, cuyas ra\u00edces se emplean en la medicina tradicional como agente carminativo. La ent-halimanolida sintetizada se ha sometido a ensayos de actividad antitumoral mostrando actividad frente a la l\u00ednea celular tumoral humana hela.  \tse ha realizado una revisi\u00f3n bibliogr\u00e1fica de los sesquiterpenos quinona\/hidroquinona de esqueleto drimano y drimano reordenado que constituyen un grupo muy amplio y diverso de productos naturales, de gran inter\u00e9s debido tanto a su variedad estructural como a las interesantes actividades biol\u00f3gicas que presentan. Para la s\u00edntesis de este tipo de compuestos se han desarrollado dos estrategias sint\u00e9ticas diferentes. Mediante la primera de ellas (ab-abc-abcd) se llega a un intermedio avanzado en la s\u00edntesis, mientras que con la segunda (ab-abd-abcd) se ha culminado con \u00e9xito la s\u00edntesis de aureol, neomamanuthaquinona y smenoqualona.   \tla valoraci\u00f3n biol\u00f3gica realizada de algunos de los sesquiterpenos quinona\/hidroquinona intermedios obtenidos, as\u00ed como de aureol y 19-metoxiaureol indica que son activos como antitumorales a concentraciones de 10-5.  \tlos estudios realizados para la obtenci\u00f3n de sulfato-derivados de hidroquinonas, han permitido establecer
