Los autores y obras cubanas escogidos son: virgilio pi\u00f1era y su electra garrig\u00f3, inspirada en la electra de s\u00f3focles; jos\u00e9 triana y su medea en el espejo, basada en la medea de eur\u00edpides, y ant\u00f3n arrufat y los siete contra tebas, basada en la obra hom\u00f3nima de esquilo y en las fenicias de eur\u00edpides. En todas las obras cubanas el eje central gira en torno a la influencia de la revoluci\u00f3n cubana y en casi todas ellas los personajes femeninos desempe\u00f1an un papel muy
