Se ha hecho uso de un esquema fotoquimico muy elaborado (130 reacciones quimicas) pudiendose establecer ciclos sencillos capaces de explicar la produccion y perdida de los compuestos mencionados. Se ha podido determinar un coeficiente de difusion turbulenta en concordancia con las limitaciones actuales existentes para reproducir tanto la concentracion estratosferica de los componentes minoritarios como la localizacion de la homopausa del metano. Este coeficiente es coherente con los modelos microfisicos para reproducir las observaciones fotometricas y fotopolarimetricas de titan.  se ha supuesto un flujo entrante meteoritico de vapor de agua para reproducir la abundancia extratosferica relativa del co2.
