Es una investigaci\u00f3n multidisciplinar que cubre varios campos como s\u00edntesis espectral, aprendizaje autom\u00e1tico, gestos musicales y ac\u00fastica musical. Se ocupa de la producci\u00f3n de sonido a trav\u00e9s de un enfoque muy emp\u00edrico, basado en el an\u00e1lisis de gestos interpretativos musicales as\u00ed como en la medici\u00f3n de propiedades ac\u00fasticas del viol\u00edn. Debido a las caracter\u00edsticas de los principales elementos vibradores del viol\u00edn, el estudio se divide en dos partes, a saber, vibraci\u00f3n de la cuerda frotada y radiaci\u00f3n de sonido del cuerpo del viol\u00edn.Respecto a la cuerda frotada, nos interesa modelar la influencia de los controles del arco en el espectro de la vibraci\u00f3n de la cuerda. Para poderlo llevar a cabo, se desarroll\u00f3 un sistema de medida que permite la adquisici\u00f3n de par\u00e1metros de control de arco durante interpretaciones musicales reales. El an\u00e1lisis de estas interpretaciones permiten un mejor conocimiento del espacio de control, su uso por los violinistas y el efecto de dichos controles en el sonido producido. Adem\u00e1s, t\u00e9cnicas de aprendizaje autom\u00e1tico son usadas para dise\u00f1ar un modelo generativo de timbre que es capaz de predecir envolventes espectrales correspondientes a una secuencia de controles de arco. estas envolventes pueden posteriormente ser rellenadas con componentes arm\u00f3nicos y con ruido para producir una se\u00f1al sint\u00e9tica de vibraci\u00f3n de la cuerda.En cuanto al cuerpo del viol\u00edn, se dise\u00f1\u00f3 un nuevo m\u00e9todo para medir respuestas ac\u00fasticas a impulso, basado en grabaciones de glissandi y en un algoritmo de deconvoluci\u00f3n
