Se han evaluado los efectos del manejo del suelo en la distribuci\u00f3n espacial del carbono org\u00e1nico y el comportamiento hidrol\u00f3gico de una parcela con distintos sistemas de manejo. Con esta informaci\u00f3n se pretende mejorar la cuantificaci\u00f3n de la capacidad del suelo como fuente o sumidero de carbono, la descomposici\u00f3n de restos org\u00e1nicos y la din\u00e1mica del agua a escala de parcela, para distintos tipos de manejo en un suelo de la campi\u00f1a andaluza. la tesis se estructura en un primer bloque donde se presentan la parcela de estudio y aspectos t\u00e9cnicos del sensor empleado. Un segundo bloque, que trata la relaci\u00f3n entre la humedad del suelo y las medidas del sensor, as\u00ed como las caracter\u00edsticas y respuestas hidrol\u00f3gicas de la parcela. El tercer bloque est\u00e1 orientado a los aspectos del manejo y sus consecuencias en la variabilidad del suelo. Los resultados expuestos muestran que las medidas de cea tienen un gran potencial para identificar eficazmente patrones espaciales de la humedad, diferencias producidas por los sistemas de manejo en un vertisol a escala de parcela y para ser empleada como informaci\u00f3n secundaria para mejorar la interpolaci\u00f3n del carbono org\u00e1nico del suelo. Asimismo localizar las diferencias que ha producido el manejo permiti\u00f3  identificar zonas de la parcela donde realizar muestreos en el futuro con el fin de comparar los efectos del manejo sobre
