Aunque en la literatura se han propuesto muchas t\u00e9cnicas para combinar m\u00faltiples fuentes de datos de lluvia, la alta variabilidad espacial y temporal de la lluvia, especialmente para cortos periodos de tiempo, hace muy dif\u00edcil, hasta ahora, la definici\u00f3n de modelos de correlaci\u00f3n espacial en tiempo real y el establecimiento de una metodolog\u00eda de referencia para la estimaci\u00f3n operacional de campos de lluvia.  esta tesis introduce en este marco de trabajo una t\u00e9cnica autom\u00e1tica para el computo de mapas de correlaci\u00f3n espacial. Usando este m\u00e9todo se puede definir autom\u00e1ticamente correlogramas espaciales bidimensionales de la lluvia para cada paso de tiempo, evitando de esta manera las simplificaciones cl\u00e1sicas de isotrop\u00eda espacial e invarianza temporal, y los an\u00e1lisis hist\u00f3ricos de condiciones climatol\u00f3gicas promedio.  la evaluaci\u00f3n de la mejor t\u00e9cnica para la estimaci\u00f3n de campos de lluvia es hecha analizando los siguientes criterios: (1) el desempe\u00f1o de cada m\u00e9todo para estimar cuantitativamente los registros de lluvia hechos por los pluvi\u00f3grafos y (2) las diferencias o semejanzas entre cada uno de los campos de lluvia estimados y los campos radar originales.  adem\u00e1s, la sensibilidad de las metodolog\u00edas de estimaci\u00f3n a cambios en los datos tambi\u00e9n es evaluada, incluyendo errores de calibraci\u00f3n en los campos radar y de medici\u00f3n en los pluvi\u00f3grafos, y cambios en la acumulaci\u00f3n temporal de los datos y en la densidad de las redes de pluvi\u00f3grafos. Finalmente, el desempe\u00f1o de los diferentes estimadores de campos de lluvia es analizado, en t\u00e9rminos hidrol\u00f3gicos, simulando caudales en una cuenca mediterr\u00e1nea por medio de un
