En una primera parte del trabajo abarcamos su trayectoria hist\u00f3rica, la problem\u00e1tica relacionada con su celebraci\u00f3n, las secciones de que constaba, las personas que en \u00e9l participaron, los tipos de premios que otorgaba y su repercusi\u00f3n medi\u00e1tica. A continuaci\u00f3n, contextualizamos el evento en el marco general de los festivales internacionales de cine, profundizamos en el concepto de cine de autor y otros t\u00e9rminos con \u00e9l relacionados y afrontamos el an\u00e1lisis est\u00e9tico de la filmograf\u00eda que proyect\u00f3 el festival para determinar su adecuaci\u00f3n a los presupuestos definitorios del
