Inicialmente se obtienen dos muestras con distinto grado de concentracion de glicoproteina-p, mediante el tratamiento secuencial de la fraccion microsomal de celulas linfoblasticas murinas con dos detergentes (colato de sodio y zwittergent 3-12).  a continuacion, se inyectan en los ovocitos, y tras comprobar la incorporacion de la glicoproteina-p en la membrana de los mismos, se procede a su estudio electrofisiologico no observandose la aparicion de una corriente nueva ni alteraciones en las caracteristicas de la corriente nativa, al aplicar un shock hipotonico a los ovocitos.  se
