Por una parte, se ha estudiado el potencial de una nueva familia de dendr\u00edmeros, basados en una estructura de mol\u00e9culas de \u00e1cido g\u00e1lico unidas entre s\u00ed mediante grupos etilenglicol, para la administraci\u00f3n de adn plasm\u00eddico. Estos dendr\u00edmeros han demostrado su eficacia para asociar adn plasm\u00eddico, as\u00ed como para dar lugar a una adecuada transfecci\u00f3n en cultivos celulares sin comprometer la viabilidad de las c\u00e9lulas. Por otra parte, se han desarrollado nanopart\u00edculas elaboradas a base de combinaciones \u00e1cido hialur\u00f3nico y quitosano modificado con polietilenglicol capaces de asociar y liberar eficazmente adn plasm\u00eddico y sirna. La capacidad de estas nanopart\u00edculas para la administraci\u00f3n de sirna frente al factor de transcripci\u00f3n snail1 y a la prote\u00edna quinasa akt1, ambos involucrados en el desarrollo de procesos tumorales, han proporcionado la prueba de concepto que pone de manifiesto el potencial de dichas nanopart\u00edculas para el desarrollo de nuevas estrategias destinadas a la terapia
