Lo cierto es que taylor no ofrece un tratamiento formal y exhaustivo de dicha teor\u00eda, por lo que el peso de esta advertencia inicial se expone a pasar inadvertido. En este contexto, la reconstrucci\u00f3n de la filosof\u00eda del lenguaje de charles taylor abre nuevas puertas para la comprensi\u00f3n de su teor\u00eda de la verdad y su concepci\u00f3n \u00e9tica. Al mismo tiempo, permite definir m\u00e1s claramente los rasgos principales de su posici\u00f3n filos\u00f3fica, que admite ser denominada como \u00c2\u00abrealismo expresivo\u00c2\u00bb. \u00e9ste subraya el car\u00e1cter realista y \u00c2\u00abno-problem\u00e1tico\u00c2\u00bb de la aproximaci\u00f3n del ser humano a la realidad (en su doble dimensi\u00f3n afectivo-cognitiva), al destacar el protagonismo que tiene el aspecto receptivo por sobre el proyectivo en la aprehensi\u00f3n de la verdad y el bien por parte del sujeto humano. Al mismo tiempo, rescata la ineludible necesidad y presencia de las condiciones subjetivas individuales en esta aprehensi\u00f3n, fundamentalmente al reparar en el car\u00e1cter de agente encarnado de dicho sujeto, y al otorgar un papel preponderante al horizonte en torno al cual dicha aprehensi\u00f3n se produce. En sinton\u00eda con esta posici\u00f3n gnoseol\u00f3gica, la teor\u00eda de la libertad de charles taylor reafirma la presencia de las demandas sustantivas del bien moral, sin por ello descuidar el inherente aspecto proyectivo y contextual que subyace a toda elecci\u00f3n libre.
