Hemos prestado una mayor dedicaci\u00f3n a las tres \u00faltimas d\u00e9cadas en las que se ha desarrollado la salmonicultura industrial de trucha arco iris. con especial inter\u00e9s ha sido abordado el estudio de la evoluci\u00f3n de los agentes pat\u00f3genos y de las enfermedades que afectan a las poblaciones pisc\u00edcolas en las piscifactor\u00edas, comprobando su importancia en la viabilidad econ\u00f3mica de las empresas de acuicultura. tambi\u00e9n hemos constatado como desde el inicio de la piscicultura en asturias, las patolog\u00edas han estado presentes en la cr\u00eda de los peces y como en cada una de las d\u00e9cadas en que se realizaron los estudios, han sido determinados agentes pat\u00f3genos de naturaleza v\u00edrica o bacteriana los que han causado morbilidad y mortalidades, y como la puesta a punto de t\u00e9cnicas diagn\u00f3sticas y profil\u00e1cticas frente a cada una de ellas ha condicionado la aparici\u00f3n de otros nuevos agentes pat\u00f3genos, que de nuevo presentaban consecuencias econ\u00f3micas relevantes. finalmente, el trabajo pone de manifiesto, como durante los 22 a\u00f1os que dur\u00f3 el estudio, en nuestro laboratorio de ictiopatolog\u00eda del serida hemos ido actualizando e implementando las diversas t\u00e9cnicas de diagn\u00f3stico en ictiopatolog\u00eda, tanto para agentes bi\u00f3ticos (bacteriol\u00f3gicas, cultivos celulares, anatomopatol\u00f3gicas, y en estos \u00faltimos a\u00f1os moleculares) como abi\u00f3ticos, de acorde con las disposiciones tecnol\u00f3gicas, tanto nacionales como internacionales, en cada momento. De manera que en la actualidad podemos ofrecer a los piscicultores diagn\u00f3sticos fiables y r\u00e1pidos para una lucha m\u00e1s eficaz contra las enfermedades.   summary  a historic study of the evolution of asturian continental aquaculture from its start at the beginning of the 20th century until today has been carried out. We have focused on the last three decades during which the salmon farming industry of the rainbow trout has developed.  special attention has been paid to the study of the evolution of the pathogenic agents and the diseases that affect fish factory populations verifying their importance in the economic viability of the aquaculture companies.  we have also stated how since the beginning of fish farming in asturias, pathologies have been present in fish breeding. In each of the decades studied, the pathological agents of viral or bacterial origin causing morbidity and mortality were determined. We have also stated that the optimisation of diagnostic and prophylactic techniques against each of these pathogens, has conditioned the arisal of other new pathological agents that came to replace the previous ones, with important economic consequences.  finally, this work highlights that during the 22 years that this study has lasted, in our ichtiopathology laboratory in serida we have brought up to date and implemented diverse ichtiopathological diagnostic techniques (classical bacteriology, cell culture, anatomopathology and in recent years molecular techniques)  against biotic and abiotic agents, according with the available national and international laws in every moment.
