Se ha comprobado la compatibilidad de los hongos nemat\u00f3fagos y entomopat\u00f3genos con el quitosano. Se ha observado que el quitosano no s\u00f3lo no inhibe el crecimiento de los hongos nemat\u00f3fagos y entomopat\u00f3genos sino que adem\u00e1s aumenta su esporulaci\u00f3n, mejorando su capacidad como hongos agentes de control biol\u00f3gico. Adem\u00e1s se ha estudiado el modo de acci\u00f3n antif\u00fangico del quitosano sobre los hongos fitopat\u00f3genos y el hongo modelo neurospora crassa, y se ha demostrado que el quitosano mata las c\u00e9lulas f\u00fangicas mediante permeabilizaci\u00f3n de la membrana plasm\u00e1tica dependiente de energ\u00eda. Se han estudiado los componentes de la membrana plasm\u00e1tica que confieren la distinta sensibilidad a quitosano, detectandose que los hongos sensibles a quitosano tienen membranas m\u00e1s fluidas, con mayor cantidad de \u00e1cidos grasos poliinsaturados. La influencia de la fluidez de la membrana sobre el efecto del quitosano se contrast\u00f3 utilizando un mutante para una desaturasa de \u00e1cidos grasos del hongo modelo neurospora crassa. El mutante con menores niveles de \u00e1cidos grasos poliinsaturados mostr\u00f3 menor sensibilidad al quitosano que su correspondiente aislado silvestre. Nuestros resultados indican que el quitosano permeabiliza la membrana plasm\u00e1tica de los hongos sensibles tras la uni\u00f3n a los l\u00edpidos con carga negativa de la membrana, afectando la fluidez de las zonas a las que se une e induciendo la formaci\u00f3n de grietas en la membrana por diferencia de fluidez entre distintas zonas. Finalmente, se han estudiado las prote\u00ednas extracelulares del hongo nematofago pochonia chlamydosporia creciendo en medio con quitosano, y se ha observado que el quitosano activa los mecanismos de patogenicidad de este hongo, aumentando la expresi\u00f3n de las enzimas hidrol\u00edticas encargadas de la penetraci\u00f3n del hongo en el hu\u00e9sped.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3>Datos
