A estas circunstancias particulares de claramonte, como hombre de teatro, responde el objetivo de este estudio: analizar c\u00f3mo la  profesi\u00f3n del autor se ve reflejada en la prosodia de el valiente negro en flandes, a partir de su manejo del verso. \tel estudio incluye una edici\u00f3n de el valiente negro en flandes, necesaria para contar con una versi\u00f3n fiable del texto que realmente pudo salir de sus manos y ordenar las modificaciones que sufri\u00f3 en un largo y doble proceso, por las tablas y por la estampa. Se ha fijado el texto, cotejando varias ediciones, limpi\u00e1ndolo de una tradici\u00f3n poco escrupulosa, con errores en los versos y con pasajes mal montados. se han analizando los versos y la relaci\u00f3n con los aspectos pragm\u00e1ticos, constat\u00e1ndose c\u00f3mo el autor acomoda la m\u00e9trica en la organizaci\u00f3n dram\u00e1tica en relaci\u00f3n a sus valores pros\u00f3dicos y a la funcionalidad teatral de los mismos. En definitiva, este estudio muestra c\u00f3mo claramonte, en esta comedia, utiliza los mecanismos pros\u00f3dicos para captar la atenci\u00f3n del p\u00fablico, a\u00f1adiendo, de este modo, a los
