Los datos de los contaminantes analizados han sido obtenidos en 15 estaciones de medida distribuidas entre las tres islas de la provincia. Concretamente 11 en gran canaria, 2 en lanzarote y otras 2 en fuerteventura. Los datos meteorol\u00f3gicos tratados son los registrados en cada una de las islas.           el objetivo general planteado ha consistido en analizar y evaluar, en t\u00e9rminos ambientales, la calidad del aire en la provincia y determinar qu\u00e9 factores influyen de manera preponderante en la misma.           la consecuci\u00f3n de dicho objetivo general ha implicado realizar una serie de estudios espec\u00edficos que han permitido entre otras cosas          &#8211; determinar y analizar las variaciones temporales y geogr\u00e1ficas de los diversos contaminantes (no, nox, so2, pm10 y o3).        &#8211; identificar los procesos que afectan a las concentraciones de part\u00edculas menores de 10 um, realizando un estudio sobre el origen de las masas de aire que llegan al arcipi\u00e9lago mediante el c\u00e1lculo de retrotrayectorias y determinar la carga neta de polvo africano sobre las concentraciones detectadas.       &#8211; determinar las frecuencias con que anualmente se exceden los valores l\u00edmites de los diversos contaminantes, d\u00f3nde se producen y a qu\u00e9 se deben.       &#8211; analizar la evoluci\u00f3n temporal de los contaminantes con el fin de estudiar su comportamiento e identificar fuentes espec\u00edficas, locales o regionales, de emisi\u00f3n.       &#8211; determinar la relaci\u00f3n existente entre las variables meteorol\u00f3gicas y los contaminantes con el fin de dilucidar de forma cuantitativa la influencia de estas \u00faltimas sobre los contaminantes.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3>Datos acad\u00e9micos de la
