Si bien en los \u00faltimos a\u00f1os se han logrado sensibles avances (en temas tales como el desarrollo de modelos te\u00f3ricos, la detecci\u00f3n de variables antecedentes y consecuentes, o en c\u00f3mo intervenir), numerosas contribuciones son todav\u00eda necesarias y deseables. As\u00ed, clarificar qu\u00e9 es y qu\u00e9 no es el mobbing desde diferentes perspectivas (tales como, empleados en general, v\u00edctimas, testigos o expertos) y culturas, y evaluar los comportamientos de mobbing y su severidad han sido los objetivos de esta tesis doctoral. Con el uso de metodolog\u00edas de car\u00e1cter cuantitativo y cualitativo, los resultados de los diferentes estudios publicados han proporcionado una categorizaci\u00f3n y jerarquizaci\u00f3n del mobbing parsimoniosa e incluyente, as\u00ed como una mediaci\u00f3n de la severidad de las conductas que contituyen el fen\u00f3meno, lo cual ha permitido crear un nuevo instrumento de medida de este
