Varios estudios muestran la posible implicaci\u00f3n de las prote\u00ednas de pcg en la met\u00e1stasis y la progresi\u00f3n tumoral, pero a pesar de ello, se sabe muy poco de los procesos moleculares en los que estas prote\u00ednas est\u00e1n participando. Por otro lado, los procesos moleculares que producen el peor pron\u00f3stico en c\u00e1ncer, la met\u00e1stasis, que continua siendo una enfermedad incurable, siguen todav\u00eda sin estar completamente elucidados. En esta disertaci\u00f3n mostramos el papel de ring1b, una prote\u00edna del pcg, en tres procesos implicados en la met\u00e1stasis. La transici\u00f3n epitelio-mes\u00e9nquima (emt), un proceso morfog\u00e9nico cr\u00edtico en el desarrollo embrionario y durante la progresi\u00f3n de varios c\u00e1ncers epiteliales, la
