Uno de los principales problemas presentes en la industria citr\u00edcola son las podredumbres producidas por los hongos penicillium digitatum y penicillium italicum. La detecci\u00f3n temprana del da\u00f1o producido por los hongos en los c\u00edtricos es especialmente importante para la industria distribuidora de c\u00edtricos, ya que un reducido n\u00famero de frutas infectadas puede diseminar la infecci\u00f3n a toda una partida de c\u00edtricos, produciendo grandes p\u00e9rdidas econ\u00f3micas. Actualmente en la industria citr\u00edcola la inspecci\u00f3n y eliminaci\u00f3n de c\u00edtricos da\u00f1ados por podredumbres se realiza de manera manual por operarios, ya que en etapas tempranas  el da\u00f1o producido por el hongo es dif\u00edcilmente detectable por sistemas de inspecci\u00f3n autom\u00e1ticos. En esta tesis doctoral se va a desarrollar un sistema de visi\u00f3n hiperespectral basado en filtros de cristal l\u00edquido sintonizables y se van a estudiar t\u00e9cnicas para procesar las im\u00e1genes proporcionadas por el mismo de forma autom\u00e1tica.
