Fue analizada la influencia de un amplio conjunto de variables de operacion tales como velocidad de agitacion, caudal de oxigeno, presion parcial de ozono, tiempo de iniciacion, concentracion de catalizador, tipo de catalizador y temperatura sobre la distribucion de productos, selectividad de los mismos y velocidad de formacion. A partir de un mecanismo de reaccion en cadena, que en cada caso incluye la actuacion del iniciador, inhibidor o catalizador, ha sido posible determinar las velocidades de oxidacion de x-pineno y formacion de los principales productos, verificandose las mismas a partir de los dtos.  experimentales.
