En la primera se ha replanteado el genero dramatico del auto sacramental, delimitando sus elementos constituyentes; se ha propuesto una metodolog\u00eda apropiada para su estudio y se ha ofrecido una breve vision del teatro alegorico en espa\u00f1a y en europa durante la decada de 1930-1940.  en la parte ii se han establecido los antecedentes criticos de la investigacion sobre el director y la obra dramatica, en general, de pedro salinas; se ha situado el auto en el contexto de su obra dramatica y poetica y se ha llevado a cabo el analisis textual de este.
