A partir del modelo de king (1997) y considerando las elecciones legislativas ocurridas en portugal en 2002 y 2005, pretendemos encontrar los coeficientes de estabilidad (los ciudadanos mantienen la misma actitud ante el voto en las dos elecciones, es decir, cuando votan o se abstienen, en las dos elecciones, consecutivamente) e inestabilidad electoral (los ciudadanos votan en una de ellas y se abstienen en la otra, independientemente del orden) para todos y cada uno de los municipios de portugal.  el m\u00e9todo de ie de king est\u00e1 basado en la distribuci\u00f3n normal bivariante con truncamiento en el cuadrado unitario [0,1]x[0,1]  y  se aplica para tablas de contingencia de 2&#215;2, donde los atributos en estudio son exhaustivos y  mutuamente excluyentes.  en el caso de portugal, el m\u00e9todo de king no ha producido buenas estimaciones al nivel de los c\u00edrculos electorales predefinidos pol\u00edticamente, atendiendo a la heterogeneidad espacial evidenciada por la tendencia partidista mayoritaria de las provincias que los constituyen.  as\u00ed, con vista a obtener la homogeneidad espacial, en t\u00e9rminos de tendencias pol\u00edticas mayoritarias en las dos elecciones en estudio, nuestra propuesta se basa en  una \u00abreorganizaci\u00f3n\u00bb territorial partidista\/abstencionista, a partir del m\u00e9todo hj-biplot (galindo, 1986).  esta metodolog\u00eda nos permite encontrar grupos de provincias homog\u00e9neos en su comportamiento electoral, y evaluar la tendencia pol\u00edtica de cada provincia, as\u00ed como el movimiento de votos
