Mediante esta metodolog\u00eda pueden determinarse las especies arsenocolina, arsenobetaina, acido dimetilarsinico, acido monometilarsonico, as (iii) y as (v) a los niveles de concentracion en los cuales se encuentran en muestras de origen ambiental. La determinacion de estas especies se lleva a cabo mediante el sistema acoplado en continuo hplc-uv-hg-icp\/oes (separacion cromatograficafotooxidacion con radiacion uv-generacion de hidruros &#8211; espectroscopia de emision por plasma acoplado inductivamente).  la metodolog\u00eda desarrollada ha sido aplicada a muestras de agua subterranea con un alto contenido en arsenico y a muestras biologicas de origen marino. Dicha metodolog\u00eda ha sido validada al participar en ejercicios inter-laboratorio organizados por el bcr (boureau community of reference, organismo de la comunidad europea) y ha sido aplicada al analisis de muestras biologicas marinas en un ejercicio de inter-certificacion con la finalidad de preparar un material de referencia donde los contenidos en las diferentes especies de arsenico
