Ello ha dado lugar a gran cantidad de rutinas muy optimizadas para entornos con caracter\u00edsticas f\u00edsicas comunes. Ahora, gracias a la evoluci\u00f3n tecnol\u00f3gica es bastante usual disponer de arquitecturas muy diversas en cuanto a prestaciones de hardware, software y  comunicaciones.   por ello, estas rutinas necesitan ser adaptadas a las nuevas situaciones, para lo cual existen dos posibilidades: en primer lugar se pueden reescribir de nuevo el software con el consiguiente gasto material y de tiempo; en segundo lugar, es posible adaptar y optimizar este software a los diferentes entornos de forma transparente al usuario, o que, al menos, no suponga un esfuerzo significativo para \u00e9ste. Surge, de este modo, la necesidad y el inter\u00e9s en el desarrollo de software y de t\u00e9cnicas con capacidad de autooptimizaci\u00f3n.  es interesante contar con software adaptativo que sea capaz de conseguir que el c\u00f3digo, previamente optimizado, pueda ser usado en un entorno ajeno al de su dise\u00f1o original sin reducir las prestaciones iniciales. Esta capacidad de autooptimizaci\u00f3n deber\u00eda incluir la adaptaci\u00f3n a distintos sistemas y configuraciones, de manera que el c\u00f3digo se ajuste de manera autom\u00e1tica a los entornos
