De esta forma en el primer cap\u00edtulo se estudian los principales factores que afectan las preferencias del consumidor por productos de alta complejidad tecnol\u00f3gica, encontrando que los m\u00e1s relevantes son: la propensi\u00f3n a valorar la calidad extr\u00ednseca, el valor funcional de productos orientados hacia la practicidad, la frecuencia de consumo y el formato del establecimiento de compra. En el segundo cap\u00edtulo se estudian los factores que afectan las preferencias por marcas de distribuidor; donde los m\u00e1s relevantes son: sensibilidad a la promoci\u00f3n, valor funcional del producto hacia la practicidad, lealtad de marca y preferencia por establecimientos econ\u00f3micos. En el tercer cap\u00edtulo se estudia la disponibilidad de pagar un sobreprecio por productos de mayor calidad, encontrando que es determinada por el nivel de satisfacci\u00f3n y su interacci\u00f3n con el gasto actual del producto, a trav\u00e9s de una relaci\u00f3n c\u00fabica en forma de \u00abs\u00bb con pendiente invertida. Finalmente en el cuarto cap\u00edtulo se presenta un modelo general de elecci\u00f3n de marcas de distribuidor con datos de panel, en el cual despu\u00e9s del efecto que tiene la zona geogr\u00e1fica sobre el comportamiento del consumidor, los factores m\u00e1s relevantes son: la profesi\u00f3n y nivel educativo del individuo cabeza de hogar, la presencia de promoci\u00f3n al momento de compra y
