Este nuevo material consiste en particulas de tama\u00f1o entre 10 y 150 nm, de forma esferica y que aparecen muy aglomeradas. Su estructura es amorfa y el contenido de hidrogeno muy elevado y enlazado al silicio formando cadenas de tipo polimerico. En una segunda parte del trabajo se describen los procesos que espontaneamente o inducidos externamente pueden alterar las caracteristicas microestructurales del polvo nanometrico de silicio. Tambien se describen las propiedades fotoluminiscentes del polvo de silicio recristalizado y su dinamica de excitacion se modeliza de acuerdo a un proceso multifoton y
