Como tales, se les exige una alta pureza espectral bajo modulacion. En la presente tesis doctoral se estudia cual es el comportamiento de estos laseres cuando se hallan sometidos a inyeccion de luz y\/o feedback optico. La inyeccion de luz se incluye de forma voluntaria para mejorar las prestaciones del laser. Sin embargo, el feedback optico puede aparecer de forma involuntaria debido a reflexiones de luz en elementos opticos diversos. Los sistemas descritos se han estudiado mediante ecuaciones de balance modificadas, que se han simulado por metodos numericos. Tambien se han llevado a cabo experimentos de encendido de laseres semiconductores, en los cuales se evidencia el efecto producido por la presencia de una fibra optica. Se ha desarrollado una tecnica nueva de estabilizacion de comportamientos periodicos basada en feedback optoelectronico, que es capaz de conseguir una supresion del comportamiento caotico que se
