Jos\u00e9 Del <\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>En la teoria de procesos estocasticos la evolucion simplificada de ciertos tipos de ciertos tipos de procesos es de gran utilidad para modelizar fenomenos reales. En este sentido, el desarrollo ortogonal de un proceso estocastico mediante un conjunto numerable de componentes es muy interesante en problemas teoricos y practicos.  de su analisis nos ocupamos en el primer capitulo de la memoria. La base de esta tecnica es un resultado probabilistico conocido como descomposicion de karhunen-loeve. A partir de este resultado se establece el analisis en componentes principales de un proceso estocastico en tiempo discreto. Unido a este concepto se encuentra el problema de reduccion de dimension del espacio de representacion de un p.E. Discreto. En el segundo capitulo de la memoria se proponen diversos metodos para obtener reduccion de dimension. Se trata de metodos de tipo algebraico, basados en la dvs de la matrizproceso, probabilisticos, basados en la descomposicion ortogonal del proceso analizada en el capitulo primero, y entropicos, mediante minimizacion de la entropia definida sobre las trayectorias normalizadas del proceso.
