Seg\u00fan las previsiones, en los pr\u00f3ximos a\u00f1os se han de seguir construyendo  t\u00faneles de gran longitud tanto a nivel nacional como a nivel internacional. Destacar los proyectos, a nivel nacional,  de uni\u00f3n europa \u00e1frica a trav\u00e9s de un t\u00fanel por el estrecho de gibraltar o el enlace espa\u00f1a francia con el denominado t\u00fanel transpirenaico cuya longitud superar\u00e1 los 42km.   se han realizado estudios y simulaciones en funci\u00f3n de las distintas longitudes de t\u00faneles, instrumental utilizado y de distintos  dise\u00f1os geom\u00e9tricos de redes.  la finalidad de esta tesis ha sido la obtenci\u00f3n de una metodolog\u00eda optimizada  de dise\u00f1o, observaci\u00f3n y c\u00e1lculo de redes geod\u00e9sicas y topogr\u00e1ficas para la realizaci\u00f3n de t\u00faneles y que sirva como referente para la ejecuci\u00f3n de las citadas obras a partir de las experiencias desarrolladas en los
